On Abandoned Factory, point A is effectively the only major high ground on the map. All approaches to the capture point consist of gentle slopes separated from the main urban area, which is why much of the main frontline fighting tends to take place here.

Point A also provides a commanding view over most of the area around point B. As a result, losing the fight for A can place the entire B frontline under significant pressure.

If your team loses point A, it is usually better not to force a defensive line around B. Instead, consider falling back slightly to draw the enemy forward and counterattack, or shift the offensive toward point C.
