Tactical Summary
The key areas of 38th Parallel can be divided into the mountainous terrain between points A and B and the stream between points B and C.
If your team loses control of the mountain, holding point A becomes extremely difficult, and launching an effective offensive toward point B is also heavily restricted. On the other hand, losing control of the stream can allow the enemy to break through the flanking routes leading toward point C.
Most of the major flanking routes on this map pass through the stream. If no one is defending this area, enemy vehicles can use it to move around the map and launch surprise attacks against your team's flanks.
However, the stream itself is located on low ground, which makes it very difficult to defend. Therefore, when defending, it is generally better to hold the mountainous terrain, while on the offensive, breaking through the stream is an effective way to open up flanking routes.
